A young dynamic team is taking over and continuing a tradition that dates back to 1961. The Megantic Sugar Shack will be in its 64rd year of operation in 2024.
Mrs. Blanche Trudel and Mr. Jean Trudel opened the Cabane à sucre Megantic in 1961 and served traditional meals until 1984, for a total of 24 years of operation.
Mrs. Renée Lévesque and Mr. Charles Lacombe took over from 1985 to 2017, for a total of 33 years of operation.
